A room dedicated to a master of imagery. From which perspectives? Click here to find out.

Coming from the organic farming movement of the late 70’s, Swen Inkub was attracted early on to op art and its masters, Victor Vasarely and Bridget Riley, as well as to street art. He has created a series of op art installations in the verdant setting of the Paleo Festival in Switzerland where he has been head of the design team for 8 years.

Self-taught, his specialty is stencil art, and he has left the alpine pastures behind to tackle the concrete of cities. «Traditional» stickers and stencils are his means of expression. Member of the «art-und» collective since its inception, he honed his skills on the walls of houses and shops and also on canvas.

His encounter with Thomas Munck in 2009 was a decisive one. Together they have perfected a technique that is unique in the world (yes, really) that they call LE TRAMAGE. Their four-handed duet is called «M1KUB», an amalgamation of the Thomas Munck and Swen Inkub.
