Imaginary patients and those in the blues will not resist the ether-o-shocks of this team of chic doctors of the imaginary and their tailored blouses.
Charles Leval, known as Levalet, was born in 1988 in Epinal. He grew up in Guadeloupe, where he encountered urban culture and after, visual arts. He studied visual arts in Strasbourg; His work, then more focused on video, feeds on an assiduous dramatic practice. He obtained the French agrégation in 2012, when his work began to take place in the streets of Paris. He has since participated in numerous exhibitions including several Solo shows, and has participated in some international meetings.
The work of Levalet is above all, a work of drawing and installation. He stages his characters drawn in Indian ink in the public space, in a game of visual and semantic dialogue with the present environment. The characters interact with the architecture and deploy themselves in situations often close the absurd.
